My lease ends March 21, and I am now being told by Rochelle that I am going to be charged an elevated rent for two months beyond my lease and occupancy even though I gave her verbal notice a month and a half ago that I was not renewing my lease and vacating!! DO NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THIS NIGHTMARE!
Absolutely horrific and incompetent management. The townhomes are riddled with very large cockroaches. I made numerous complaints which were disregarded. The downstairs bathroom flooded months ago, while under the management of Rochelle, the maintenance did not repair the leak and left two large botched "repairs to the wall and ceiling and never returned to finish.
At first I was thrilled to find such a great place for when my husband and I were married. It was my first time moving out so I was very excited. Things went south fast... not only did we have a problem with bugs, but there was so much noise. Our neighbors partied, had dogs who threw themselves against the walls and ran up the stairs and played loud music outside our window. Worst part of all was the management. The manager was overall a nice person and I don't doubt a good person, problem is it has been almost 13 months that we lived here and she hasn't been able to get her tenants to abide by the rules. She is never in the office and when she wouldn't get the problem resolved I tried to report her. The walls are paper thin, heating and air was a nightmare, dogs crap everywhere, and it is not a good place. Never live in this place, you will save your money on these overly expensive townhouses!
Supercheap built, thin walls, high electricity bills, everything starts breaking a month or two after move in! No security, outside things not safe!
Terrible Management, My electricity went out on several occasions due to neglected maintenance and they refused to allow me to move or even offer a hotel for the three days I was without power. Maintenance personnel harassed my wife several times. These townhouses are very cheaply and you can definitely tell!! Just about everything broke in the short time we lived there. Move in at your own risk!!!
At first I was thrilled to find a place so close to work. The pros are that and it is generally a safe area. I have placed multiple maintenance reports for bugs and maintence. Upon moving out, I was charged for items I mentioned and documented as being wrong when I moved in; namely, my carpet wasn't cleaned when I moved in and my blinds had bite marks. Liz said they would fix them but that didn't happen. The pool when I first moved in was nasty. Residents, keep an eye on it. I had bugs and they did send an exterminator to my apt twice. I placed at least 7 requests for bugs alone. I do not recommend moving here, they will screw you over and I'm sending my documentation to both my Local Rep and to the BBB. I'm reaching out to the State Real Estate Board as well. They charged me for having a pet even after they removed it upon leaving. I never had a pet. Save yourself the headache and live somewhere else.
