Monica is very thorough with your animals and letting you know what you need to know. If you need them in the middle of the night, they are there for you. They love and take care of your animals so well that my dog gets excited when I pull in the parking lot! Wish I could say that when I have to go to the doctor! :-)
I cant say enough about the Staff and Monica at Countryside! We adopted a Husky/Curr mix back in December and my previous vet nearly killed her with a does of Heart Guard. We were recommended to this vet by a clerk at Pet Smart and this was the best move I have ever made.
The doctors and staff on hand are very personable and have compassion for your and your fur baby. Our Maltese came in for a second opinion and unfortunately the news is bad. We will choose this veterinary office for all our needs and in the future should we obtain another loving pet.

This was my second time at Countryside and I was absolutely blown away by the staff and how they actually care I had to take 2 of my 4 big dogs in for an emergency today and they were patient and kind with my fur kids who were scared they were so sweet and most of all very knowledgeable and they keep you updated with every single step they make. I wish I had found them sooner. I've never come across such an amazing establishment. I would highly recommend them to anyone there were all sorts of animals there horses goats dogs cats cows. Dr. Mia Holmes and the nurse who I forgot her name are my angels today. Also Thank you to the "money lady" I also forgot her name. I can't thank you enough. Major Bo and Buzz are resting right now as I write this. Thanks again ladies I hope you get to see just how much I appreciate everything today.
Penny. By the time I got Penny to Countryside, we had seen the Emergency vet on Sunday; then our local vet on Wednesday, then 80 miles to Countryside early Friday morning. She was very sick. They ran labs, xrayed her lungs and stomach. Vet thought she had contracted blastomycosis. I do believe the vet treated her with the artillery of medicines she thought best. For that I am grateful. The afternoon that Penny passed away, no one called to tell us her breathing had gotten worse. I wanted to be there, either way, whether she passed or we had to put her out of her suffering. She died alone in her cage. Wondering where her family was. When we went to pick her up the next morning, she was in a garbage bag. That hurt also. She went in Friday morning. Passed away Sunday afternoon. My bill was $958. She had considerably expensive injections to try and fight the blastomycosis. I have no issue with that. Wouldn't have wanted it any other way. But she died. Alone. Could you have given me a break on the $130 xray? Or the $150 labs? Maybe discounted those - or taken oh, maybe 5% off your bill, since she died? That stung. We were left searching for bedside manner and empathy as well. I know it's a good hospital. That's why we went there. But aside from leaving with Penny in a garbage bag, we left disappointed and disheartened this time.
